I am proud to mentor these three student technology groups:
The Bellair A.M. Announcement Crew A group of 4th-6th grade students who work together each morning to present a brief, televised, school-wide program to help begin the school day. Each student learns to operate the video camera, a four-channel mixer and the sound equipment. Students also create and update a slide show, posting current news items and relevent school information.
The Bellair Technology Mentor Group
Based closely on the Gen-Y model, developed by Dennis Harper & Silvia Martinez, the students will continue to troubleshoot and teach technology for our staff and students during the school year. Find out more about Generation YES.
The Bellair Yearbook Club
This group of third through sixth grade students use digital cameras to record special events as well as daily school activities, upload images and access software online to design and create book pages. As a team they also plan a strategy to market and distribute our annual school yearbook.
